Following the world-wide interest in our work a number of related yet somehow independent projects emerged from the project. Some of them have started and died already, some are ongoing and some are only beginning. It is important to note that in the following pages we refer to projects directly related to the Multinational Monitoring and Measuring Project, and not to the many projects that emerged within a specific country following our work.
The Latin American ProjectLed by Ferran Casas of Spain and funded by ChildWatch International a new project is emerging in Latin America. Its first meeting took place on July 2002 in Costa-Rica and was hosted by the Paniamor Foundation (a Key Institution of CWI in Costa Rica).
The Transition to Adulthood in Cross-National Perspective
Led by Prof. Frank Furstenberg, a group of our project first phase participants together with other accomplished researchers have carried out an extensive search and analysis of data sources relevant to the transition to adulthood using projects that collected similar data from multiple countries.
